Young Adults Ministry Leadership Team
Whitewater Crossing Christian Church
May 2012- Present
Description:
I volunteer as part of a six person leadership team for our young adults ministry at my local church. Our basic function is to ensure that the young adults ministry is fulfilling its purpose as a place that young professionals can gather for support, prayer, and fellowship. Our ministry meets on a weekly basis for an informal bible study. It is the job of the leadership team to ensure these meetings are going well, along with how to get new people connected in the church along with what service projects are available that we may be able to take part in.

Redsfest Volunteer
Kids Zone Supervisor
December 2011
Description:
Every year the Cincinnati Reds hold a fan festival to promote their current team and upcoming season. Fans have the ability to meet with players, get autographs, and collect memorabilia. In 2011 I volunteered for the event through my university and was assigned to the Kids Zone. My basic objective was to simply supervisor the many games and inflatable structures the kids had the opportunity to enjoy. I was responsible for their safety and for ensuring that all kids got to participate.

Community Youth Basketball
Three Rivers Community
November 2008-January 2012
Work Description:
Prior to being hired as the 8th grade basketball coach at my local middle school, I volunteered in the community basketball program. I held almost every position in the organization from selling concessions, operating the scoreboard, along with coaching my own team. Although it was all volunteer work, I did have a lot of responsibility and constantly was expected to communicate with other organizers and parents.
